Hey all, I ran into some issues and I was hoping someone might be able to lend some information if they have had a similar issue. Some context, I recently installed the JB4 and was running Map 1 with stock spark plugs. I ended up stressing out a single coil pack to the point where it needed to be replaced (I’m also at 44k miles and I came to this conclusion because I had it diagnosed at my Kia dealership after getting a check engine light). They recommended changing the single coil pack and all the spark plugs because even though the coil pack was the main issue, they said the spark plug was also under stress and needed to be replaced so they said we should replace all 6 plugs. I ended up replacing all 6 Coil packs first since there was still a bit of life in the spark plugs. Everything seemed to be fine after replacing the coil packs. It’s been about 2 weeks now and I finally got a check engine light again, assuming it was a misfire issue due to the spark plug. I took it to AutoZone to have the issue scanned as a sanity check but it turns out the code I got back was for
P05CC - Cold Start “A” Camshaft Position Timing Performance (Bank 1)
“indicates a fault in the cold Start “A” Camshaft Position Timing Performance (Bank 1) for a predetermined period of time.
Currently My car idles fine and drives fine as well without any noticeable issue since.
So I guess what I’m asking is… did I screw up my transmission lol? Or could this just me related to the spark plugs that need to be swapped out.
