Carbon Fiber Front Splitter finish protection?

Does anyone have any advice on protecting the finish on a carbon fiber front splitter when installing new?

The finish on my carbon license plate holder on the front has been completely destroyed in one year. I know I can sand it down and refinish that but am wondering if the same thing will happen to my splitter if I don’t protect it from the elements. Also wondering if it depends on brand and how they finish the clear coat? Any experience is appreciated? I have researched a bit and have read UV protectants could help.

You could buy some clear PPF and take your time and wrap it, that should do a good job of protecting it.
