Can someone, ANYONE, PLEASE for the love of god tell me if this mirror assembly will fit on a 2021 GT1??

So i bought the following assembly off Ebay (PN: 87610-J5540) which has this grey harness and looks like the male side of a harness. The description on the sellers ad said 2018-2020 (specifically removed off a 2018). I initially checked kia.oempartsonline.com and did a VIN check to confirm fitment and it said it did not fit my vehicle. It said PN: 87610-J5500 was the correct assembly.

However before doing that i spoke with a service technician from a local kia dealership and he said this assembly DOES fit my VIN #/ and is compatible with a 2021. It was pretty much the only mirror assembly on ebay that didn't have any damage so i pulled the trigger.

What concerns me now though is all the mirror assemblies that i see on Ebay that were specifically removed off a 2021 have a completely different black harness that seems to be the female side of a harness. Just looks like a completely different harness entirely and I really don't see how the two can be compatible for the same year.

Can anyone confirm if this mirror assembly (with the grey harness) will fit on my 2021 or did i just waste almost $300 and listen to a technician feed me a bunch of horse sh*t?

1. As a 2021 model why wouldn't you just go buy a new one

2. If its all resolved and your first post becomes irrelevant just go back in and edit it

1. They are crazy expensive and everything on ebay was beat up
