Can I extend my Optima lease until the Stinger is ready?

I need to turn in my Optima lease in September. I read that the Stinger won't be in showrooms until somewhere between October and December. And that's if nothing goes wrong between now and then. Would it be possible to extend my lease a few months if needed? Would a dealer do that if I'm buying my next car from them?

Not done this with Kia but with VW you could extend up to 3 months. You need to call Kia finance though not the dealer.

I'm confused. Stingers have been roaming the streets of the US for 8 or 9 months now. Are you asking about a specific car you had the dealer source for you?

I was confused when I saw this post, thought the forum had an issue and was posting stuff from last year. To the OP, the 2018 Stingers are available now with some good lease and cash incentives, the 2019s may be out at the timeframe you mentioned and yes, you can extend your lease, I think KIA goes up to 6 months if I remember correctly. You can check the financial website or call to confirm.
