can anyone confirm FLAC files play on audio system?

I found a thread which had differing opinions. Hoping to use my FLAC player

Yes, I play local FLAC files on the Stinger system and they sound great. I use Android Auto with Google Play (previously using Pulsar on AA), but also have used the native player with FLAC files on both USB stick and on my phone's internal SD card. This is on the 15 speaker HK system.
