I've like the look of the Cadenza since it first came to the US and the new version looked quite nice. I helped a friend of mine acquire one and she loves it. While not a car enthusiast, she was certainly aware of the KIA brand's negative image from others. She has seen my change from BMW through the multiple versions of the Optima hybrid and then the Stinger. She loved the amount of equipment provided especially the heated steering wheel. She was planning on getting an Optima but the deals on the Cadenza was too good to pass up so I told her to go drive on and she was hooked. Says she gets a lot of compliment on it and friends and family can't believe it is a KIA.
I was thinking the Cadenza's grill would look good on the K900 and was surprised with what they gave it. A larger version of the Stinger's grill, done to fit it could also work in my opinion. The squared off rear end looks really good on this car and I think would have been better for the K900 but with the light design they wanted to put on it, I guess it didn't fit well with a squared look. The next Optima should have a similar digital dash and infotainment screen, plus an updated center stack. This updated cadenza has a lower stance compared to that big wheel gap of past versions, I'm hoping they have also given it a nice touring sedan ride. Nothing have been said about the ride and handling, will have to wait for a press drive to hear more on it.
