Buying in Canada and bringing Stinger to US

It would make sense if you could just buy it up there, drive it back, and be done with it. However, I believe I recall reading on this or another forum, that you would have to pay duty AND it would void the warranty. Now I don't know if that's all true. Makes sense that you would have to pay duty, but the warranty thing seems like it would be at the discretion of Kia.
