Broken clip found on bottom engine cover

Had to pull the bottom engine cover to get at oil filter/drain bolt. Discovered the following clip floating about the cover.

It measures about 1/2" wide x 1/4" tall, maybe ~1/8" thick

If the General doesn't recognize it... it's prolly not from the Stinger!

Lol. I'm 100% sure it's from somewhere in the car.

At time of purchase I had them lift the car so I could inspect the underside. Part of that also involved them removing the cover so the engine itself could be seen to ensure no leaks.

I won't lose sleep over it but it's an odd sight to be welcomed to at the first oil change. Maybe next time around some money will appear there instead
