Hi all. I replaced all four rotors and sets of pads last week and all went fine except the rear right corner which now has a grinding/shimming noise all the time. Breaking doesn't seem to affect it at all. Louder on left turns, quieter on right turns for some reason.

I suspect it's the shoes for the handbrake, but I've backed them off using the rotating spring on the hub and it's not made much difference. Everything is on good and tight. No issues at all from the other side which has identical rotor and pads.

One issue I did have when replacing the rotor is I couldn't seem to get the parking brake off. I put it into neutral and turned off the car, pressed the hand brake lever down and audibly heard the motor disengage the brake as usual, but when I try to spin the rotor it seems to lock after a little rotation either with the other wheel that's still on the ground or due to something not disengaging. That's really annoying as I can't fully spin the rotor to see where the noise is coming from with the car jacked up and wheel removed.

I drove a 500 mile round trip last week and thought any bedding in required would be over but the noise is still there. Any help much appreciated!
