Brake Pedal (guard?)

Have y’all noticed the molded tab that extends down on the right hand side of the brake pedal, to prevent your foot from getting caught underneath the backside of the brake pedal? Kinda thoughtful on KIA’s part. Pardon the muddy pedal, been in new construction all day and it’s rainy out here in Austin.

Look at the bolt pattern on my car vs your car. What engine / transmission do you have? I have the base engine and automatic.
