Has anyone bled the air out of their coolant themselves? I thought I remember someone here saying they did but I cannot seem to find that post. You guys have any advice besides "take it to the dealer"?

I did it myself...but still had pockets trapped. Took it to a tuner shop and they were able to bleed off the last bit.

Had the radiator replaced later (not connected to the aforementioned situation) by the dealer. Even they couldn't get all the air out the first time.

It's a royal pain. The trick for me was disconnecting the bleeder hose on top of the engine and squeezing every coolant hose untill bubbles appeared. Got it done in an hour after that.

Thanks for the advice, I was able to get it done. It was a pain but if I had to do it again I think it would be a lot easier. What worked for me was after I got it filled up I squeezed every coolant hose I could find (especially those going to and from the heater) with the radiator cap off until I wasn't getting anymore bubbles or hearing water move in the hose.
