While I've loved my 2023 Stinger GT2 RWD, I realize that I need something more practical. I'm reluctant to simply trade it in that Stingers have such a following.

Should I sell it on CarMax? eBay Motors?

It's an immaculate white US-spec 2023 GT2 with less than 6,000 miles. No modifications other than minor blackouts of emblems, mirrors, etc. I believe it is one of the last sold new in the US as I bought it in January 2024. I'm located near Memphis, TN.

If you wanna sell it private, you'll have to price it very aggressive. Not a lot of people with $30-40k in cash are looking for a car. Timing looks to be pretty bad too. With a lot of layoffs in progress, even the ones who can afford it, are not making expenses purchases. So if you can sell it to carmax for 10-15% less than lower asking range for the similar car, it might not be a bad idea. I've just priced my 18gt awd with 145k miles, out of curiosity, and they offered me $6800

That's a tough one.
In today's world, I would be very reluctant to sell privately. Too many opportunities to get scammed, robbed or whatever.
Do you really want strangers showing up at your door, pretending they want to buy your car?

Oh I'm interested, but let me take it for a test drive first. Sure buddy, here's the key.

Your car will never be seen again. Even if they do come back, what's to say they don't thrash it while on their "test drive"?
They could also be just scouting you out, only to come back at 3am and steal it from under your nose.
Lastly, lets say you make a deal. Do you really trust a stranger to write you a legit cheque?
So so many things can go wrong in a private sale.

When I sold my Mazda this spring, I contacted several dealers and wholesalers. Got a good price from a Nissan dealer, of all things.
It was seamless. Drop off the car, pick up cheque.
