For context, in my 40 years of driving, I've owned approximately 20 vehicles, including my wife's vehicles and those driven by our kids but bought by me. While I hope to some day re-use that "Best Ever" statement on a future vehicle, I can honestly say that as of right now (20 months of ownership and 40,000 km on the car) this is the best car I've owned. I'm still enamoured with my Stinger and have regularly felt the desire to post this - so I have. Even though the car is far from new, I still get a real charge every time that I drive it. I do drive more enthusiastically than most, so that probably contributes to my driving enjoyment, but this car continues to do everything that I ask of it.
At the top of my list of the car's attributes is the bang-for-the-buck factor. I know of nothing else that combines this type of performance and practicality for the money. For me, the performance trumps the practicality and I continue to get a thrill every time I press down the accelerator. If anything, I'm even more impressed by the performance in the winter. On dry pavement in the summer, this car is already far quicker than most vehicles on the road. In winter, however, on slippery roads this car is simply outstanding. I have a set of great Nokian Hakkapeleita R3 winter tires mounted and my Stinger walks away from pretty much everything else on these roads.
Take that performance and combine it with the tech in this car and room to comfortably seat 4 and I think we Stinger owners have an unbeatable package. The practicality of the hatchback is just an added bonus in my view, but sure came in helpful today when helping to move my daughter into a new apartment...
