When I bought my Stinger here, the service was so bad it was scary. I even offered to help them (as a process engineer) to improve it, with the hope it would get to where I would be willing to take mine here.
But they got a new service manager and the salesman told me it was improving. So. . . . .
When I began getting messages on the cluster about service due in XXX days, I went out to the Kia owner's web site and scheduled an appointment for oil & filter change and state inspection (annual). Sunday night went out to check the time and discovered the appointment was missing? Monday called the dealer:
Call promptly answered.
Transferred me to service.
Promptly answered.
Confirmed no appointment, but they happily made one for me for the oil change and the inspection.
Went in today.
Processed it in, no waiting at all.
Wandered back to the waiting room.
Everyone wearing masks and employees coming by sanitizing everything in sight.
Friendly employees and a bunch of customers admiring my dog and wanting to pet him, which he really enjoyed.
1 hour later - all done.
Asked the service writer if he knew of a place I could get a 2001 Ford Explorer inspected?
Absolutely! They would be happy to do it. Don't have parts or info to work on it and it's too old for them to work on, but they would be glad to do state inspection on it.
Now I'm willing to recommend them for service.
