Bad Hub Bearings?

So recently (@75K miles) I started getting the skreeee sound from front left wheel. Stops if you lightly apply brakes or turn left.
I replaced brake pads (worn), but sound persists...

1. Has anyone else had bad bearings/hub assy. ?
2. I see a video on YouTube for replacing a RWD front wheel hub assy. but not AWD. Is AWD much more difficult?
3. Any other things i should check before buying a hub assy.?

I replaced all 4 on my awd. The front is doable without removing the spindle. The rear was major pita, because of the very limited access to the bearing bolts. With the lift it would be lot easier. You will need new axle nut for the front as well. And make sure you have big torque wrench. I think it calls for around 230lb/ft for axle nut.
