Hi Guys,

Has anyone added an axle back and replaced the downpipes removing the secondary cats while still keeping the resonated middle section? From what I can see it doesn't look very restrictive. I'm not keen on a muffler delete as drone is an issue. I was thinking possibly the Kia AU bimodal with downpipes or a custom Xforce Varex axleback.

Also downpipes alone may add a bit of noise to the stock system albeit you won't gain much due to the crushed section in the stock axle back section.

Thoughts?

I installed downpipes with factory full cat back this weekend, and there was a definate increase in sound. It's not terribly loud, but You can actually hear the exhaust now. I'm mating it to magnaflow cat back shortly, and will do a couple of before and after videos

I'd be keen to see the vids when you've done them mate!
