AWD and different Tire Diameters, any official source on differences?

I read through the owners manual but it was surprisingly vague and made no mention of diameter/wear allowances for AWD. Since the AWD stinger GT can come with an unrotatable staggered setup, and can heavily favor the rear tires, I can only assume the lack of information to mean that the system is incredibly tolerant of varying diameters.

With that said, can anyone tell me the largest diameter difference they have run without problems? I'm looking at a 26.4/26.6 setup, since unfortunately with 19s you can't get similar diameters with wider than stock tires unless you go shorter than stock or almost an inch more than stock.

I haven't seen anything official about the AWD front / rear diameter tolerances. Probably because Kia expects any replacement tires to be the same size as the OEM tires.

Actually it is the OEM staggered setup that gives me the assumption that it very tolerant to differences.

As the OE setup tires can't be rotated, the rears can be significantly off from the fronts depending on driving mode and style. Just a 2/32 difference in wear is .125 inches in actual diameter.

The OEM fronts also start life slightly taller than the rears.

Personally I'd advise to stay within the OEM staggered variance (I dont know, what if you run into issues and dealer attempts to void your warranty for aftermarket rims lol).

various sources (youtube, fitmentindustries, random owners on facebook) state to be within 1% variance (except fitmentindustries says 1% variance of the OEM variance if that makes sense) so i'd imagine you'd be fine.

sorry for not being able to directly answer your question
