Auto Hold (Idle Stop Mode) - Ticking Noise?

I noticed when I was in the drive thru waiting to get my quick bite to eat, there is a ticking noise when the Auto Hold kicks in. In other words, when the engine is in the idle stop mode, I hear a ticking noise. It goes away when the engine restarts. I only hear it when the Auto Hold function is turned on and when the engine is in the idle stop mode when I am in a drive thru. Anyone else experience this? Is that normal?

So when your engine is off, you hear a ticking noise, bht only when auto hold is being used

when pressing the brake pedal, without auto hold, with the engine off, there is no ticking?

What is your HVAC fan speed setting when this phenomena occurs?
