When I bought my Stinger, I had a salesperson bring some absurd piece of paper, loaded with all kinds of extras he never mentioned and I didn't want. Further, each time I asked a question, he went to the sales manager for a couple minutes, and then walked back. It was nuts. So, I just got up, walked over to the sales manager, asked for the invoice, and offered $1 over it. Done.

There is no reason to waste time haggling on prices. They make plenty of money even at the invoice price. So, just offer them $1 more. For example, my Stinger was listed at $43,525. I asked for the invoice (they are legally required to present this to you on request) and it was $41 something. I offered them $1 over that, and drove off in my new car.

Update: It looks like in the buying thread, some people have paid less than the invoice price, before lease discounts, so, this may be useless.
Then again, many have paid more. Moderators, feel free to delete this thread.
