Just curious because when I bought my 2023 gt2 in july they told me no kia financing. Also no loyalty discount. The finance thing bugs me as I used kia financing before.

depends on the price. I'm sure most would offer it, but it may be easier for them to add markup on non-Kia finance options, especially if they had discounted the price of the car for instance.

Finance mgr will offer you financing that makes the dealership greatest profit. Doesn't matter if you're 800+ credit score. Unless the mfg is offering some kind of low interest rate (0, .9, 1.9%, etc.) be prepared with your own financing or accept the dealer's but refi asap. Good idea to negotiate car price before financing. In the financing office, play the game of accepting a higher rate if they'll reduce the purchase price even further.

It seems this year there were no promos/rebates unlike last year. The car market is still poor with supply chain issues.

Last aug I was offered 5% which included a $1000 ($920 effective after taxes) rebate. I took it and ran. Didn't matter what the dealer was offering as I was going to refi it at 1.99% immediately (within the first week). Following morning I got the loan info from KMF and started the refi process.
