April 2022 Navigation update - Apple CarPlay not working

Has anyone found a fix for this issue? I did my update on 9-9-22 and liked everything but Apple CarPlay wasn’t working when i pressed the call/answer button. I was kind of disappointed until today. I finally had time to play around with it and discovered that holding the call/answer button for about 2-3 seconds or until you see the Siri bubble come on screen and then boom there it was! I know I’m a “little late to the party” and I’m sure this has already been discovered, i just could/didn’t see a solution when i was looking here the other day. Let me know if this helps anyone.

Not that apple carplay wasn’t working, just the call/answer button wasn’t working like before with a single press.

iOS 16 came out yesterday. I received a call today and was able to answer the call, but they couldn't hear me. Also an issue if the phone is locked for CarPlay to come up, even if connected via USB

I haven’t had that issue come up and I too updated to iOS 16. Ill keep an eye out for it and see if I get that issue as well.
