Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth Audio Simultaneously

Is it possible to run both ACP and Bluetooth audio at the same time? I'd like to be able to use Waze via ACP while letting my son play DJ via his Samsung phone using Bluetooth. But every time I bring up Waze the Bluetooth connection with my son's phone is dropped. Has anyone successfully done this? Or is it just not possible?

I've never known of an infotainment system that does this. Carplay and bluetooth are separate and discrete, and exclusive, inputs; you choose one or the other.

Gonna bump this in case anyone else knows because I’d like to do the same. Some cars have this capability
