My plan is to take off those thin chrome strips in the “vents”, paint them black, then put them back in. Has anybody done this? Taking them off and out looks easy enough, but I’m not sure what paint to use. It doesn’t have to be a perfect match, might even do them in matte.

Have any of you painted little parts like this before?

You should consider wraping them without even removing them from the car to save time and you are able to get back to stock easy if you are not happy...

I thought of wrap, but I’d have to take them off wouldn’t I? Could I cut around them without water getting under and lifting it?

You’re right about it being reversible if I don’t like it.

I know it could be a little ghetto...but you could try plastidipping it and if you like the color peel the dip off and then paint it. Just a thought. :)
