Any idea why my Pixel 6a connected to my AAWireless dongle has lower audio quality than my iphone 13 connected to bluetooth? This is from streaming music on Spotify and both phones have all quality settings in Spotify set to the highest option

My car is a 2022 Kia Stinger with Wired AA by default but I use the Wireless Adapter from AAWireless.io

Make sure that the spotify app on the pixel has the "Normalize Volume" setting disabled. It brings the max volume of all the tracks in your library to the same level, which depending on the song can sound like it is a lesser quality. I am not sure if the iphone app has that feature.

Yeah EQ off and normalize volume off. I tried connecting the Pixel through Bluetooth instead of the AA dongle and the quality was the same as the iPhone.

Not sure why the AAWireless would degrade the sound

Go to the settings app for AA wireless and see if there is something enabled that should be, or disabled that should not be. My AA wireless produces noticeably better quality than it does using bluetooth with my Galaxy Z Fold 4.
