so I think I hit a pot hole that knocked my alignment off a bit. I took it to the dealer, then was told I’d have to come back because they didn’t have the specs. I came back when they did, and they made the car substantially worse. They then had the car for 2 days and it’s better but still pulling and doesn’t feel as stable at higher speeds.

My dealer uses hunter as their alignment equipment manufacturer and although they have the specs, they don’t have the option of the Stinger platform to use, just the K900 so it’s throwing everything out of wack. I finall got Kia involved and they are researching to see if there are other dealers in my area that have different alignment equipment that actually has the Stinger platform.

Has anyone successfully had their Stinger aligned? I am looking at bringing it in for the 4th time to get it aligned. I told Kia I am concerned about it wearing my tires unevenly, and their response was that they’ll have the technician check the tire treads and if it’s not where it should be, I’ll get brand new tires at least.

Any thoughts/assistance would be appreciated!

Sounds like incompetent dealer. Anyone with specs should be able to align car close to specs unless something is bent. Hell I can align cars in my driveway with strings and levels. Lol!

Alignment Specs?

This is the post with the alignment specs. They can select the K900 but they shouldn’t be using the K900 specs. They can manually input the specs from that thread.

Also call Kia Premium Customer Care and let them know of the issue with the dealer. I had the same issue with my dealer and they were helpful in getting it resolved.
