I have installed this catch can but have a couple of questions:
1. What are the pros and cons with using the breather as opposed to using the "T" adapter in a closed loop as seen in option B in the instructions?
2. The photos that come with the instructions seem to show the hoses attached to the catch can flip-flopped with those in the diagram. In other words, can the hoses going to the intake outlet and the intake manifold go into either port on the catch can?
BTW, I am getting an oil smell in the cab during acceleration. I'm guessing (hoping) a check valve failed and have ordered the McMaster-Carr check valves. If that doesn't fix the issue, I may just have to get the Mishimoto or BMS. Anyway, thanks for your support.
