Hey guys, I need to know if anyone has figured out a way to modify the computer from automatically switching back into D from manual mode. I hate to say it but I'm starting to regret purchasing the gt2 over the gt2 and just upgrading the missing features outta pocket.

Problem: Currently the only way to engage manual mode is to use the paddle shifters which will than shift from whatever gear, depending on which paddle is pressed, from whatever gear it is presently in while in D; this is a serious issue when your running on a track. It also will automatically shift back into D after a certain amount of time of inactivity or if something else happens (havent figured out what that is I just know it does it).

Intent: I want to be able to keep the automatic shift function it has when reaching a certain RPM limit, as well as the down shift function in order to preserve the vehicle in case I fail to remember to shift (which is unlikely but a back up is never a bad thing), but I wanna remove the ability for it to shift from manual mode to D mode unless I use the traditional method to turning off manual mode, ie hold right paddle for 3 seconds.

Any solutions are welcomed, I have even played around with completly downgrading from the electronic parking system it has down to the gt1 version so that I'm able to shift into manual mode and keep it there as intended.

P.s. I think this is a serious design flaw on KIAs part and should of never had this feature in the first place for the GT2
