Looking at buying a Stinger over the next year in Victoria, Australia.

Will definitely be getting the 3.3 liter engine, but not sure on the model. Online the 330S is about $55k on the road, whilst the GT is $66k.

Looking at the specs, the 330S appears to be better value for money, same car, engine and performance specs, just not so many the electronic bells and whistles. Seems to me not worth the extra $11k just for that, but perhaps I am missing something?

My question is what are peoples opinions?

Depends on what's important to you. In the US, you're basically comparing GT to GT2. Things like HUD, adaptive suspension, lane keep assist, the upmarket stereo, 360 camera, etc. were important to me so I went with the GT2. If I only wanted strictly performance I'd have been fine with a GT.

For 2018, GT2 had slightly nicer leather and the driver seat had adjustable bolsters. Also check the cluster - I *think* the bottom GT had the same cluster with the rectangular screen as the 2.0l while the GT1 and GT2 (no idea of Aus equiv models, sorry) had the larger cluster screen which looks nicer as it's better integrated into the cluster.

For strictly driving, it's really a wash. For pampering, I personally really like the top of the line perks.

It all depends on whether you just want the performance and power of the engine and not concerned with the frills of the GT. You do get a lot in the GT that probably makes it worth the extra cash. Nappa leather, HUD, bigger wheels and tyres, sunroof, 13 speaker stereo, 360 degree camera, wireless charging....and the list goes on. It is a very nice place to sit whilst you extract that performance from that sweet V6. All depends on whether you have the cash I suppose. I was lucky too so I never thought twice.
