So I got rid of the stock wheels a while ago and went to:
Noir Elite NR108 20x8.5 +35mm on Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires 245/40R20 Front
Noir Elite NR108 20x10 +40mm on Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires 275/35R20 Rear
Fitments for the last 2 years have been perfect and what I stuck with. After looking around and going to the track I picked up a set of America racing rims in the same 20x10 +40 for the rear as a drag wheel. I know it's not ideal and and 18 is. But tires are hard to find when you dial the way I do/am.
So I picked up a set of nitto 555rii for the rear at a 275 40 20. Here lies my issue while sitting next to the current wheels the top fender is sitting on the sidewall of the nitto but I was only suppose to gain 1/2 - 1 inch in the 35 to 40 jump, there's currently 1 inch of measure plus tuck so I expect they to fit real snug with about 1/4 inch of well left. Before I mount these and can't exchange them back to a 35 if nitto even has a 275 35 20 I can't remember.. I was wondering if anyone who has been racing has dialed a rear drag set up that could verify on the stock suspension that this set up will fit like I'm expecting it to do so.
