Hey all.
I’m leasing a 2023 GT-Line Stinger with the Apex package. Love the car. But have an issue that’s really frustrating and wondering if anyone’s had a similar problem.
When my car has been sitting in the sun for several hour and it heats up, (like 5 hours in 90 degree weather, I’m in Florida) the AC on the Drivers side blows HOT air. Like really hot hot. All the other vents blow cold. It does this for about 20 minutes and then eventually the drivers side will start pumping out cool air. Sometimes restarting the car fixes the issue, sometimes not.
I’ve taken it into the dealership and they were able to replicate the issue once, but by the time they got under the hood the issue rectified itself so they couldn’t diagnose it.
It’s pretty annoying but I typically keep my car in the shade so the problem doesn’t kick up all the time, and like I said; it’s only on HOT hot days and when the car has been roasting for a while (like an all day Disney trip)
Anyone have a similar problem or have any ideas what’s causing this? Dealership is taking a “well we can’t replicate it to figure it out” stance.
I love my car and would buy it once the lease is up but not if I can’t get this issue resolved.
Thanks for letting me vent here. If anyone has any advice or a similar experience I’d love to hear it.
Cheers
