2022 AWD GT2 / GT Elite does it have LSD?

Hi all,

Just got a used 2022 Stinger GT Elite AWD. I was going through the maintenance schedule in the owner’s manual and saw LSD fluid changes mentioned, but I’m not sure if my car actually has one.

I did see Limited-slip differential listed under the GT Elite trim in the 2022 Kia Canada Stinger brochure, but I’m still not 100% sure. Can anyone confirm?

Safest way to check it will probably be, get under the car and visually check it. Lsd differential will have lsd sticker on it.

it's tricky, because the canadian cars have different options included. Even in the US the LSD was only offered on the GT2 RWD for 2019, then the Atlantica and GTS trims, and then sometime after that it because standard on more GT RWD trims. it's confusing. Then for '22 everything changed again. And I have long since forgotten. As ohiocruiser said, the diff has a big stamping by the drain plug with the letters LSD if it is. or lift both rear wheels in the air, put the car in neutral, and spin a wheel. if the other wheel spins the opposite direction, no LSD. both spin same direction, LSD. But by the time you have the car in the air you can just look for the stamping.
