Hello, first time user here!

My '21 GT1 RWD is at 35,850 miles and I have yet to do my 30k service (I know, apologies) - I did change my oil last at 31,000 though.

Went into my largest local Kia dealer (in Salt Lake City) and they quoted me $750 for the following, apparently based on their recommendations for 30k service:

all filters changed
oil change
brake fluid flush
GDI major (?, apparently cleans everything in engine - $300)

I feel like this is a ripoff, and need some guidance.

Also, the owners manual says to change rear differential oil, but the quote did not include this?

What all should I get done? What is a reasonable/normal cost for a 30k service??

Thank you, hopefully that all made sense haha

30K is the biggie, the first of three before you hit 100K miles. KIA schedules additional things to inspect and service every oil change interval, i.e., c. 6K miles or every six months. The schedule goes like this, 1, 2, 1, 3, 1, 2, 1, 4, and you arrive at 48 eight months or c. 30K miles by the time you hit "4". A "4" includes everything in services 1 through 3 plus the "4" stuff, like replace the engine coolant, engine air filter and fuel tank air filter, then a bunch of additional inspection points that haven't been hit in 1-3 inspections.

If you don't want to risk your warranty you have to adhere with the KIA plan. If you can find an alternate mechanic who will do it for less go for it.
