Hi guys, so the other day I was driving home from the store and I did floor my car (Jb4/meth/all boltons) super fast felt great. Turn was coming up, so I slowed down took turn. on this road 1 lane, I was behind a car, and just cruising with my windows down. We did hear a weird flaping noise, which I thought may have been my front lip on my bumper since its cracked, but then we smelled a slight electrical smell. Not 100% sure this was my car, I floored it heard the blow offs do t heir thing, and everything felt normal. About a half mile more down the road I had to stop at a red light. As soon as I stopped my car at the light it stalled. I then tried to start it and could hear the starter trying, but car wouldnt start. Luckily this light was right next to a gas station, so I pushed it into the gas station. Once there, I tried a few times to start it to no avail. disco negative from battery for a minute reconnected, still nada. Checked JB4 read codes, 0 codes found. only codes in history were from weeks ago p0049 which was fixed. A guy came over and offered to help jump my car if I thought it was that, and I said sure. He brought this halo device over, took it out of the box, it was brand new. Its a battery pack car starter, so you dont need jumper cables, or another car. He hooked it up, I was in the back saw him hook red to red, black to black. My girl tried to start the car, and now no starter noise at all. Then the ground from the battery started to smoke slightly, so I quickly had him pull the halo off. Thanked him, and had my car towed home. I checked it yesterday in the light, and only thing I could find is the 40a fuse in the trunk with the battery for the starter was blown. I put a new one in, and tried to start my car and I get no starter noise and car will say its running but its not. My brake pedal wont depress like its very hard and up top.

A friend of mine thinks my headgasket could have blown. I have no idea what the issue is, but I figured I would reach out here, before having it towed to the dealer. Does anyone have suggestions on what to check next?

Has to be electrical. Don't fiddle, they'll have to find it. Hopefully it'll be easy to find and fix. Take all your piggyback stuff off first, just to be safe. That is the wisdom from the modders on the forum, I'm just saying it here first.

The odd statement in this description is that you said you floored it and heard the blow offs (BOV?). This wouldn't make sense as the BOV's actuate when you let OFF the throttle with boost built up.
Hard brake pedal means no vacuum for the booster. If you press the brake pedal enough times with the engine not running (no source of vacuum), the pedal will get harder to push. If you don't push really hard on the pedal in this case, perhaps you haven't depressed it to the point where it will allow the car to start.

OP, any updates?
