I have owned my Stinger since about May 2018. The vehicle came equipped with Continental All-Season tires. Unfortunately, the tires are now stored for the winter at my tire care center and I cannot easily access the exact model of the Continentals.

I have not put much mileage on the car - about 12,500 miles - nor do I hot-rod, though I do tend to drive a bit faster than given speed limits.

When I swapped the Contintental's out for my snow tires - I reside in Maine - I was told that come Spring when I reinstall the Continentals, I would have to replace two of the tires. It seems absolutely absurd to me that any tire would have to be replaced after just 12,500 miles of driving.

My question is this: have any other GT2 AWD owners whose cars were originally equipped with Continentals experienced problems with treadwear life?

I'd appreciate any responses. Thank you.

[By the way, this tire issue aside, I have experienced no problems with my Stinger and the tire problem most likely belongs to Continental, not to Kia (my snow tires - Bridgestones - are fine).
I continue to be quite pleased that I purchased the Stinger.]

19,000km on the continentals and not much issues thus far. Probably more than half worn. Also mostly freeway driving.
