2019 Stinger 2.0 blows strong fuel smell from the exhaust. I have old school hot rods that do not make my eyes burn like this. It seems like the rings aren't seated and when I changed the oil at 6k (8k on the car now) the oil smelled full of fuel. I expect this out of cars with high miles or track cars. This is my Lady's car and gets driven e-a-s-y.
We took it to the dealership today to check it out and they found nothing. I have seen things about other Kia models having fuel pressure regulator issues, but nothing about this particular model.
Has anyone else had this issue? I am definitely picking it up tomorrow and moving to another dealership for a second opinion.
I have been turning wrenches and building engines for 35 years and the bottom line is that this blow-by of fuel is heavy.
