I realize this is a Stinger forum but I can't find any "recent" posts in my respective area.

2016 Optima SX-T rear door ajar warning happenning randomly when parked and while driving.
When it occurs while parked, the alarm goes off (irrating neighbors I'm sure).
While driving, it happens and will beep everytime I start moving from a full stop (also irritating).

Attempted:
- Replaced the door lock actuator (entire part since the sensors are in the assembly) at $450.
- Replaced Fob batteries
- (shop and dealer) Tested battery
- Dealership and Local shop diagnostics found nothing (issue wasn't happening either time I took it in which makes it even more frustrating)

Issue stopped for a few weeks.
Rained last weekend and the issue returned. I wanted to contribute the occurrances to happening when it rains or is super cold. However that's not always the case, but I do notice after a good rain it reminds me its not fixed.

How can it be the same issue after replacing the assembly and it was working for weeks?

Needless to say, I've installed a battery kill switch with remote and just turn off the power to my car overnight as to not irritate folks.

Going to take it back to the shop and have them check any sensore or anything related to causing the issue.

If I find a solution and it seems to work for more than a few months I'll update this thread since many parts are semi-similiar
