About 3-4 days ago I started to get a backfire w no CEL. Felt exactly the same when one of the factory plugs cracked. Just had to swap 2 Densos that were cracked. The Densos have about 18k miles on them. The other 4 were good and the gap was .024-.026. I set those back to .022 and put in 2 decent NGKs that I also set to .022. Gonna order the HKS plugs. I pulled the intake so I could check the valves. I was completely surprised at how clean they look for not doing any type of valve cleaning service. At least not that I know of. I’m the second owner and picked it up w 61k. At 71k I swapped to the Densos.
