2.5T Factory Plug Struggles

Trying to take off the two factory plugs to insert into the corresponding jb4 plugs. Not sure if I’m just having a really stupid moment or if they actually require an unexpected amount of force to get off. One has a gray latch that slides back and then you can push the latch down. The other looks like you just push the latch down. Both feel glued in with the latches pushed and I didn’t wanna try pulling with too much force yet when I expect them to slide out relatively easy. Am I just stupid? Anyone else with the 22 gt-line 2.5T struggle to get these off?

If they are anything like the 3.3 engine you should be able to pull the grey pin and then you should be able to press it to unclip the plug from the coil pack. I had to push the plug in to be able to press down on my plug.

Ok I didn’t try pushing the plug it in at the same time. Thanks, I’ll give that a try
