Coming up on my 12k service. Should I put the factory air filters back in along with removing the jb4 or just the jb4? Also I have a racechip xlr that I was just planning on turning off instead of removing. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I would definitely remove the JB4. If you’re up to it, remove the xlr and put back the stock air filter.

Assuming the dealer is doing the service. I agree with above, the JB4 is probably the biggest thing that would cause them "concern" and should be removed if possible. With the XLR, as long as the brain box is hidden, I'd say at the very least that the rotary extension should be removed (if you have that connected) and have it set to "N" (aka, turned off). The filters shouldn't be a problem as I have left them in and I kind of think they're fairly normal these days (plus if you put the OEM's back in they may change them for no reason at all). I'd probably just tell them you have the K&N's. That's my take.
