Great set of wheels! Was that the last of the 455's if I recall? Real beauty!
The smiles per mile make up for the rotten gas mileage..... LOL. Thanks for the compliment. Enjoy the weekend!
Heh! 10-11 MPG. Nice. Looks awesome, though! Wow, 58,000 original miles... Amazing...
...and maybe a Stinger very soon!
Between my family and my wife's, we have had some cool ones. At least four Healeys, a Bug Eyed Sprite, a Karmann Ghia, a Sunbeam Tiger, MB 190 SL, Triumph Spitfire, 1986 Saab SPG, and possibly the coolest - a 1972 Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser with the 455 cu in Rocket V8 and wood paneling! PIMPIN'!!
It certainly sounds like automobile enthusiasts run in your family.
My father-in-law bought and restored it in 1985. I drove my wife to her Senior Prom in it in 1987. He passed it down to us in 2006 so he could make room in his garage for his father's 1964 and 1/2 Ford Mustang 289 Convertible.
I don't think I've ever seen one of these... At least not in person...
Looking good, Brian! Which tune did you go with?
